THE CHIEF CORNER STONE

Picture
The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone. Psalm 118:22.

Everyone wants to build. They want to set things up - a marriage, a business, a nation or a church. To build anything worthwhile, the chief consideration must be Christ. It must come from Christ built around Christ and must be an outgrowth of Christ. When you pray in tongues i.e. with your spirit, you are building up yourself in the right manner and as you build up yourself, Christ in you becomes built the more in you and whatever you are building is guaranteed to become built around Christ.

As a builder, do not neglect to build up yourself spiritually in prayer, since you cannot build beyond the level that you have been built. You cannot release what was never in you. By praying you are acknowledging the central position of the chief corner stone – Christ - is having in your life.

If the lord is doing something through you, Christ has to be the central of it, the reason for it and the life in it. And all this is only possible if that undertaking is immersed in prayer, undertaking after prayer and always referenced to prayer. My purpose is to so ingrain prayer into your intuitive makeup so much so that your whole life is swallowed up in prayer and progressively into God. That God would not just be to you a good idea but your life blood, pulsating through everything that you do and build. With this consciousness, approach prayer and Christ will be to you the chief cornerstone, so that what you build will have the backing of heaven and you will be good builder.
